Our embryology laboratory operates to international standards. Dr. Sharma holds a fellowship in Infertility from Kiel University, Germany. You get your realistic chance based on your own numbers, by age band, not a clinic average. If it is low, we say so, even when that means you decide not to proceed.

A written estimate before treatment starts, medication estimated upfront, and nothing added mid cycle without your written consent. What we quote is what you pay.
Our own laboratory
Embryology happens here, to international standards, with our own staff. Nothing is transported and nothing is outsourced, and you can ask to speak to the embryologist handling your case.

We assess both people from the first appointment. Investigating only the woman for two years is the most common failure in Indian fertility care.
Lines we do not cross
No sex determination, ever. No treatment we do not believe in. No add-on sold without evidence. No guarantee of a baby from anyone, at any price.

Our lab operates to international standards
Between retrieval and transfer your embryos spend five days in an environment you will never see. What happens in there matters more to your result than almost anything else in the building, which is why it is where Varija IVF spends its money.
- ISO Class 5 air. HEPA and VOC filtration, positive pressure, with particle counts logged rather than assumed.
- Time lapse incubation. Embryos are imaged continuously and graded without ever being taken out into room air.
- One patient per chamber. Individually sealed incubation, so opening one chamber does not disturb another patient’s embryos.
- Electronic witnessing. Every dish, straw and transfer is matched electronically. No step depends on someone reading a label correctly.
- Continuous monitoring. Temperature, humidity, CO2 and O2 alarmed 24 hours a day, with escalation to a named person.
- Dual tank cryostorage. Samples split across two tanks, so no single failure can lose everything. Egg survival after thaw is above 90%.
Ask any clinic you are considering for their embryo survival rate after thaw, their witnessing system, and how many full time embryologists they employ. The answers are revealing.

What the law requires, and what we choose on top of it
Varija IVF is registered under the Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Act 2021 as an ART clinic. All treatment, consent, record keeping and donor arrangements follow the Act and the rules made under it. The registration number is available on request at the clinic and will be added here once confirmed.
Sex determination and sex selection are prohibited under the Pre Conception and Pre Natal Diagnostic Techniques Act. We do not perform them under any circumstances, for any patient, at any price, and we do not discuss the possibility. Every ultrasound machine on the premises is registered and every scan is logged as the law requires.
Donor eligibility, screening, compensation, anonymity, registration and the number of times a donor may donate are all set by the ART Act 2021 and ICMR guidelines, not by clinic preference. Every donor is genetically screened, screened for infectious disease, psychologically evaluated and reviewed for family history. We explain exactly what the law allows before you make any decision.
Every procedure has a written consent that is explained verbally before it is signed, in Hindi or English as you prefer. Consent for gamete and embryo storage is renewed annually, and nothing is done with stored material without your written instruction. Your records are kept for the period the Act requires and are available to you on request.
We do not advertise guaranteed results, because no such thing exists. Every success figure published on this site states what it measures and the age band it applies to. The headline 78% IVF figure is quoted per cycle for women under 35, with 50 to 65% for women aged 35 to 40 and individual assessment for women over 40.
If you want a second opinion at any stage, tell us and we will give you complete copies of your records and reports to take with you, without delay or awkwardness. If something has gone wrong in your care, ask to speak to the director. Complaints are answered in writing.
