Screening standards, in full
All donor arrangements follow the Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Act 2021 and ICMR guidelines, including the rules on donor anonymity, registration and record keeping. We go through what the law does and does not allow before you make any decision.

Counselling
Independent counselling is part of the process, not an optional extra. Donor conception raises questions that are worth working through before treatment rather than after.
Matching
We match on blood group and physical characteristics, and on education where you want us to. You are told what is known about the donor within what the law permits us to share.
Screening confirmation
Genetic, infectious disease, psychological and family history screening are all confirmed before any cycle is scheduled.
Treatment
Donor egg IVF follows the standard IVF pathway using donor eggs and your partner or donor sperm. Donor sperm IUI follows the standard IUI pathway.
Consent and records
Every step is documented and consented in writing, and records are maintained as the ART Act requires.

Donor age and screening
Egg donor age is the strongest predictor of outcome in donor egg IVF, which is why the upper limit is 32.
Your uterine environment
In donor egg IVF the egg is no longer the limiting factor, so the lining, the cavity and your own hormonal preparation become the main variables.
Legal framework
The ART Act 2021 governs donor eligibility, compensation, anonymity, registration and the number of times a donor may donate. We work strictly inside it.
